How do you balance a feather and a rock? It’s easy if you know how to find the balance point! Learn to transform the simplest materials into magical, moving sculptures using simple hand tools and wire. You’ll have ample time to design and construct multiple hanging and standing mobiles that move in harmony with the air currents in a room. Go home with many mobiles and the skills to create your own handmade mobiles that dance weightlessly through space.

A $100 kit fee is payable to the instructor in class. All levels are welcome.

Explore the art of symmetry in matched and perfectly unmatched earrings! Learn to use the jewelers saw, punches, dies, and a torch to create one-of-a kind or multiple pairs of earrings to wear, share, or sell. You’ll learn to make ear wires and findings, add texture and form using hammers, use the rolling mill to add patterns, and how to set small round stones in pre-made bezel cups. Go home with a gorgeous collection of earrings!
